This document is a node upgrade guide for the Delta hard fork.
For Delta, nodes should upgrade consensus clients and strongly recommend upgrading execution clients as well. If you operate op-batcher, you should enable Span Batches manually for the full experience.
The sole major update in Delta is Span Batches. Please refer to the following documents for details:
Span Batches only affect the consensus layer, but we strongly recommend updating the execution layer as well. Your node will halt if --rollup.halt is set; otherwise, logs will repeatedly notify you that the client is outdated.
